I hope the video is of benefit to others considering the making of their own gas checks.  It was fun to make and there is definitely a learning process when it comes to making videos clear and to the point - something I am working on improving as time goes on.

If it's found to be of use, I have some others which I will rework and improve for submission in the future.

In the meantime, I have a YouTube channel containing some of my preliminary (definitely not perfected!) videos - most of them to do with shooting, reloading and bullet casting.  If you're interested, that channel can be found at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2yhNe891HOxIcJwbZsPVWA.  Feel free to subscribe by the way, since having more subscribers will eventually make it eligible for providing additional, advanced features in the future.  Cheers.

Nicely done Don.  I own a couple of the PM gas check makers.  Being an old carpenter, I use my chop saw to cut the cans. Using a fine tooth blade mounted in the saw backwards, I cut off one end of the can and then slip the one ended can over a tube of proper size ( I use one of the solid tube extensions  from a Shop  Vac)   and cut off the other end. Depending on your skill level this may or may not save cutting your finger on the sharp metal.  lol  but does save a lot of time.  Gp

Thanks and that sounds like a good idea GP.  Gotta be careful cutting those cans, alright.

Thanks David.  I have more that will be coming, once I get them edited.  I figured I'd try to cover some of the main bases - aspects of casting that can benefit from a bit of demonstration.

THIS IS GREAT. With you-tube deleting all firearms related VIDEO'S, it'll be nice to find firearm related VIDEO'S elseware.

Anything to do with ammunition manufacturing will also be deleted. You need to read the notice more carefully. The trick word here is "manufacturing". They're a privately owned site, so that means whatever they want it to mean.

Given the YouTube policy it seems to me it would be better to find a different way to host videos. https://www.jwplayer.com/video-solutions/jw-player/ would be just one option.

If alternatives need to be found, that can be accomplished, but I don't think it's quite time yet to panic on the poorly-conceived YouTube policy issue.  I'll wager it's mostly a matter of the policy not being worded accurately and precisely enough.  Their intent was a narrower purpose, it seems.
