Can anyone identify this metal/item

I got this in some scrap lead. The guy who dropped it off said it was lead but I don t think so. It is non magnetic, does not bend as lead does, and is somewhat brittle. It looks like it may be some kind of metal gasket.

Decoy weights. I even have some made from cast iron.
