.44 Magnum, 10 grains Blue Dot and a cast 240 grain bullet.

I like the Saeco RNFP.  This load shoots very well in my Marlin,  mild recoil but still a little bit of  oomph.

Here's one I just started loading. 30-30 sabot 55gr cast bullet, 8.0gr of Unique. If anybody has a chronograph, I would sure appreciate an approximate velocity on this one. It went through a one gallon jug of ice(frozen milk jug), a box full of newspapers and chipped the concrete block behind it. I'm thinking about making some Picrete blocks to test the FMJ's with.

HUH, I told a lie.  Clocked the load today again while having a plinkin' session and the velocity is just shy of 1200fps.

Such a COOL little load to shoot and the same cost as rimfire.

This is my plinking/match load. It has given me excellent results in my 03 and 03-A3 rifles w/ both 2 and 4 groove barrels. In any standard .30-06 case I load a commercially cast .30 Caliber, 165 grain FP .311 Lead Bullet (Hunter's Supply Model#: 014551654) over 8.0 gr. of Unique w/ Remington 9 1/2 LR primers. I have also used Winchester LR primers with equal success. Ten shot groups run 2.0 or less from a good solid prone position. I have no idea what would be the result from a bench as I've not had access to a benchrest for testing.

When it comes to handgun rounds, I am currently loading for a 6” S&W M-28.  My preferred load is to take .38 Special brass and load 5.0 gr. of Unique under a 158 gr. lead SWC.  I picked this up from an article written by the late Skeeter Skelton.  It has given me excellent results.  HTH.  Sincerely.  Bruce.

Can't let a good thread like this die. My 94 30-30 really likes the Saeco #315 as cast with LLA, no gc. 5.5 grs. of Bullseye for an est. 1050 fps, 5 shots in 2.75” at 100 yds. with a peep sight. OAL is a little long so single loading is the deal, 2.65". I'm making up a batch for a cb silhouette match on Monday.
