My son has a cz bolt gun in 9.3x62. it seems the cost of bullets is kinda' high limiting his shooting. So I ask, who makes a sutable .366 mold?

Might I ask how well his rifle shoots with handloaded jacketed bullets ?

I've wanted a 9.3x62 for a number of years and have yet to get one !

I have however been looking at the CZ550 as well as the Sako Battue .

I struggled with the decision whether to get the CZ 550 FS in 30-06 or 9.3x62, finally settled on the '06. It is a thing of beauty, old world craftsmanship inside and out and it's a shooter too. Comes with a single set trigger, very nice for bench or woods.

My buddy has three CZ550's in 375 H&H MAG m 416 Rigby and 505 Gibbs !

I worked up all the loads for them . And they all shot very nicely for what they are .

I would like get 550FS's in 6.5x55 and 9.3x62 !

you would be better off with a 35 Whelen. you can shoot cheep pistol bullets for plinking and there are moulds around.  thats my two cents

You can also wrap the 35 cal cast with paper and shoot em in the 9.3x62.  For that matter you could even paper patch the 35 cal jacketed.

Look at Accurate Molds. Tom lists several 9.3 molds. The 37-285b was designed for the 9.2x62 and it's short neck which we ran as a group buy at Cast Boolits. 37-285c is the same mold with a crimp groove should you desire one. you will not be disappointed with Toms work.

for plinkin at short range you might consider molds for 9 makarov....  these are speced at 365...  lee makes an inexpensive mak mold. and midway handles bulk ready to load for mak. just sayin..... ken

My sons rifle is the cz550 lux having the european style stock. Nice gun and shoots well. I will check out the accurate molds. Kinda like the inexpensive Lee mak mold idea. I have an oberndorf mauser 98 action that would become a 35 something if I ever get around to it.

I shoot a 9.3 X 57. It is one of the easiest cast bullet rifles I have worked with. I have two molds for it. They are a Lyman 366408-plain base and an NEI 366-260 GC design. Both molds make nice bullets easily. The NEI is exceptional in my opinion. Lately I have ordered two molds (35 cal) from Tom at accurate molds. They are excellent.

Use your Mauser 98 action to build a 9.3X57 and share molds with your son. I am only “kinda kidding". Brass can be formed by simply necking up 8X57 brass. It is fun to not follow the beaten path. That is why we shoot cast. LOL
