I have a Ruger in 9,3X74R coming next week. I'd love to get an order in to Tom at Accurate for a gas-checked mold, but of course I can't slug the bore without having the rifle in hand. Anyone out there have a No. 1 in this caliber who can tell me land and groove diameter?
Thinking something like this boolit, for all-around use:

I use this in X74 and X62 with fine results;

WW, that looks like a fine choice as well.  I bet that it would sail right through an elk.

Bill,

If I were you I would wait until you have the rifle and can make a pound cast of the throat.  If the bullet fits there you will get your best accuracy.

NOE makes excellent moulds (I have a number of them including the 368-285-FNGC) while I have that mould I use it in a 9.3x57 mm.  so my measurements will not help you at all.  Good Luck, and Patience
