Ok, I was "thinking" again.
I was in the garage and just noticed the gal. jug of EVAPO-RUST that I used to clean my ancient cast iron pot that I started my casting life with almost 60yrs ago. Where did i buy that ?
theruststore.com. So I went back there, all kinds of neato things. Including a VCI paper in ROLLS, LOONG freaking rolls. 12" X 600ft. less than 40 bucks. I could wrap every mold I own, all 22 ingot molds, my BIG ladles, my 2 small cast iron pots, my LODGE Scone pan, even my mold handles. never have to wash old molds with DAWN again or scrub 'em with acetone. Just unwrap and go. maybe no brake cleaner even ??????????????? But I think I'll need a big bag of rubber bands
But I think it's to late to wrap my rusty old joints, probably wouldn't work anyway.
