Does anyone have experience with Jamison brass?  I see .30-40 Krag is available, how does the quality compare to Rem. or Win. brass?  Thanks.

I had not heard of Jamison Brass until I read the title to your post.  But, I have found over the years that Unless there is something drastically wrong all brass is about the same.  It all lasts a lot longer if you size minimally, don't use real hot loads.

If it was up to me I would buy the minimum quantity I could, use it , and judge for myself.  If 30-40 Krag is really hard to find now, Jamison may your only choice.  Brodie

I think that Grafs and Sons has 30-40 Krag brass? Not sure what brand but would be worth looking.

Years ago I loaded .303 Savage ammo with that pricey Jamison headstamp. No issues or problems. Can't compare to other makers of brass as that was all we could get our mitts on.

If I had not gone the 405 Winch Hornady cases route for my 40-70 SS, for a BPCR, I would have looked closely at the Jamison product. It does have a correct head-stamp.

All brass is not the same. If you weigh and measure carefully you'll find variability. There is a reason the BR crowd favors Lapua cases....in most chamberings they are more consistent, a quality that has convinced many shooters that they get more accurate results using that product, but you do pay for the privilege!!
