I did some more casting with my WONDERFUL NEW N.O.E. MOLD today

I had to use my LYMAN  MAG 20 pot for pouring lead this time as my ancient RCBS Pro-Melt is on it's way back to RCBS for service. It can't maintain a consistent temperature anymore.

Now I know a lot of guys rant and rave like little sissies on you-tube about how the LYMAN Mold Guide won't fit their precious LEE 6cav molds because it's not wide enough ( Or N.O.E. either ). LYMAN designed that to work with THEIR MOLDS before most of GENERATION whiny was even born.

WELL SUCK IT UP BUTTERCUP !!!!  Use what the THE GOOD LORD gave ya between your ears for more then chewing fruit-flavored bubblegum.

Take the mold guide off, pull off the mold stop. AND TURN IT UPSIDE DOWN !!!!!! I learned that trick 50+yrs ago when LYMAN added the option to the old Model 61 10lb pot. Could use a 4cav H&G mold that way.

N.O.E. has a new mold guide designed to be added to the simple bar mold guide that RCBS has/had on the old   Pro-Melt. It will apparently also work on the new LYMAN MAG-25. There is a pretty sharp youngster calling himself;  " Full Lead Taco " on you-tube who has a video on it.   N. O.E. sells it for $24.95. I'll buy one as soon as RCBS sends back my old pot.

I also drool in my sleep. I firmly believe that true happiness is a warm gun. Did I mention how much I HATE auto-correct on this blasted tablet.

I made a sheet metal cover for mine, slips over the guide portion and is wider on top to accommodate the Lee 6 banger and NOE molds. Works fine but did have to remove the mold stop for it to fit.
