Some of us up here in Freeze Baby Land will be promoting the CBA at a local March gun show. We did this for quite a few years but held back the last two.
I have a photo taken at the 2010 show of our table but can't attach it here.
In our early efforts we heavily promoted the benchrest match events. But we found over time that booth/table visitors really didn't care all that much for the matches. The primary focus seems to be "how can I make lots of handgun bullets...cheaply?" So we changed our display to also appeal to that instinct. The things we have on the table are:
Cartridge board with examples of (18) different rifle rounds that could be used at a CBA match
Cartridge board with (24) example handgun silhouette rounds
Cartridge board with examples of legal Minnesota deer hunting rounds
Lee 5-pound pot and ladle
2-3 piles of CB's as examples of CB's
A mold with handles on it
Flyers with local match dates
Example copies of the Fouling Shot that are given to those visitors who we have serious conversations with about the CBA
CBA membership applications
Sample fired targets from our matches
Has anyone else attempted this and if so, what do you include on your table for the visitors to look at and ask about?
Thanks!
Tom
