I now find myself using oxygen. Is this dangerous while shooting? My flintlock is probably off limits but what about other firearms?
shooting and health issues.

Worked as a Firefighter/Medic for 28 years and been around lots of 02. First, if you are using 3 liters per minutes or less, just live your normal life including shooting with the flintlock. Your exhaled breath has about the same amount of 02 as normal air. The issue always is, is there a leak in the tubing or yoke that attaches to the bottle? Since 02 is about 25% heavier than air and cold coming out of the tank, it does down pretty quick.
What you don't want to do is sit in a small room with candles burning or other open flames, as the 02 will increase the rate of burn of the fuel. Oh, and quit burning weeds or melting lead with open flames. And quit smoking!
Best wishes, Ric

I quit smoking 25 yrs ago, quit drinking too, pretty terrifying for a while. The hard part is going to be using an electric lead pot. I'm a ladel pour guy.
