I just ordered a mod 94 in 25-35.  Any suggestions for good cast bullet loads will be greatly appreciated.

I have bought an original:  23" oct and round bbl,  No pitts in metal, stock looks very good, seller claims very bright, shiny bore and action very tight. Lyman receiver sight installed.  Very even gray patina on metal.  Looks exactly what I wanted. don't worry about being contagious--I don't mind being overwhelmed by the urge to buy another rifle.

Anyone out there with a .250 Savage can also make good use of Ed's listed loads. The Savage 99 is a slick rimless 25-35 lever gun .  Rus

Is there a variation on "the Load" using Red Dot which will get good accuracy in 30-30 size cases?

If I can use that bullet in a .250-3000, it's a good reason to by another mold.
