DeerSpy,
The Lyman 311041 weights about 173 grains cast from WW's, 168 cast from #2 alloy or 162 cast from linotype. Since your question asked for accuracy, that is still my top load, although it is only 1400 f/s and weak for a hunting deer. That load beat everybody in the US/Canada Postal matchs for iron sight lever action rifle this year. The others have better ideas for hunting power loads with the 30 WCF.

I can't speak as to the effectiveness of Ranch Dog's bullets, I'll be able to after Christmass, but back before RD I used to shoot Lyman's flatnosed 3030 bullet in front of 29gr. IMR 3031 for 1.75 ” with iron sights. My eyes and nerves were younger then but, I would accept Ranch Dog's data and his excellent bullets. Brodie

If you will be hunting with your 30-30, RanchDog bullet moulds cast very effective, big flat nose bullets. His data is great too. H4895 really likes the 30-30 and charges of 36-38 grains are terrific for Whitetail.
