thanks joe ... interesting that the 53 grain was usually either the worst or the best .... since it was sometimes best, it must have been a well-made bullet ....
darn it ...... it seems we still have to fit the bullet to the barrel ...
it looks like fit is more important than perfect bullets ... " beagled " bullets effect ...
( yeah, perfect fit and perfect bullets gotta be even better yet ... ) ...

do we have a correlation of barrels and groups with mj and cast ?? ... for instance, we were hoping the shilen barrel would be much better than the factory stevens .,.. etc .... that 223-250 precision converted barrel didn't like 53 mj but was decent with cast ...
we seek predictability but are rewarded with chaos ....

Yep... that's what happens when you don't follow basic rules and choose to do whatever you want. Expecting things to shoot better is wishful thinking without attention to detail.
